Djóni Nolsøe Fischer is a Faroese bassist, composer, and producer. He studied bass at Musikkskúlamiðnám, where he graduated in 2018. After this he continued to pursue a career and education in music and enrolled in the Faroese bachelor program in artistic work, with focus on music.
His musical background spans over a wide range of genres, including pop, jazz improvisation, electronic music, and hip hop. Alongside his work as a performer, he has developed an active practice as a composer and producer, both independently and in collaboration with other artists.
He has been a member of several groups, including Funksjon, Djari, Piparstertur, Ókendir, and Ravsøgn, where he contributed as bassist, composer and main producer. In addition to his band projects, he has also worked as a supporting composer and producer for various other acts within the Faroese music scene.
