Sharon Weiss, born in Lexington, Massachusetts is well known for playing the recorder in the international folk band, Spælimennirnir, based in the Faroe Islands.
She has lived in the Faroes since the early 70’s with her very well known husband, Kristian Blak, pianist/composer, who founded Spælimenninir in the 70’s.
