Jasmin Mote has been active in the music industry since 2017, when her band “JASMIN” won the prestigious music competition “Sement” in the Faroe Islands, marking the start of her career. She was a key member of “JASMIN” for six years before branching out to focus on her solo project, “jazzygold.”
With “JASMIN,” Jasmin released two EPs, won three Faroese Music Awards, produced multiple music videos, and performed in countries such as Norway, Iceland, Denmark, and extensively in the Faroe Islands.
Since shifting to her solo career as “jazzygold,” Jasmin has released multiple singles and music videos. Her live performances have taken her to Norway, Iceland, England, the Netherlands, Austria and the Faroe Islands. Beyond her work as a musician, Jasmin is also part of the GFD Collective, a creative collective bringing together artists from Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and Denmark.
